Inside the Dayton Aviation Innovation and Technology Center
A First Since World War II
SNC is the first private-sector company to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) work on military aircraft in Dayton since the World War II era. The addition of the third and fourth hangars brings the AITC’s total footprint to approximately 440,000 square feet, large enough to support the world’s biggest aviation programs and complex defense integration projects.
Supporting National Defense Programs Like the SAOC
The AITC plays a central role in SNC’s flagship programs, including the Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC). The new hangars are designed to accelerate program milestones and support the seamless integration of secure communications systems into next-generation platforms.
