The Montrose Group, LLC announced today that Matt McCollister has joined the firm as Senior Director of Economic Development. A highly respected economic development leader in the Columbus region, McCollister brings more than 30 years of experience in regional growth strategy, business attraction, and site selection.
McCollister has been a central figure in shaping economic development strategy across the Columbus region, serving One Columbus for more than 15 years in executive leadership roles. During his tenure, he helped guide business retention and expansion, domestic and international investment, and regional competitiveness initiatives.
Throughout his career at One Columbus, McCollister held several senior leadership positions, including Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of Economic Development. His work contributed to the organization’s reputation as one of the nation’s leading economic development organizations and strengthened the Columbus region’s position as a top destination for business growth.
